MCC Looks Back on an Important Development for Police Chief Talley

Welcome

This website is a publication of the Maywood Chamber of Commerce.

March is Women's History Month and the Maywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to salute women who are helping to build strong businesses, institutions and communities.

Welcome to the official MCC website!

The Maywood Chamber of Commerce salutes the wisdom, discipline, skills, leadership, and creativity of its female members.  As an organization, we have benefits from the amazing accomplishments of women in our community and beyond.  This year, despite the pandemic, our Chamber has forged a strong relationship with the Oak Park-River Forest Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber in Berwyn, to promote outstanding women entrepreneurs in our respective communities.

We invite you to attend a stimulating conversation with two women who will discuss their strategies for achieving business success despite the Pandemic.

Vanessa Jackson, Vice President of the Lemon Ad Stand a Marketing Firm located in Maywood and Luz Rosas, Owner of Cielito Lindo Coffee Shop, also located in Maywood, will share their experiences of owning and growing a business through a pandemic.  They will offer practical takeaways that can help you keep with your own business and projects, including the following:
  • Goal Setting: What is your vision for Q1 or Q2?
  • Risks: What are you willing to risk?
  • Network: How are you generating business?
  • Evaluating: Are you evaluating your success?
The session will be conducted as a Zoom meeting.  Below is access information.
